We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – IT to join our IT department at our Support Office in Vancouver, BC.

Working with IT staff and business stakeholders, this position will provide leadership and accountability for software development and integration projects that will improve efficiencies within the organization. This individual must possess a high level of technical experience, as well as strong business acumen.

The focus for the successful candidate will be on digital transformation projects as we start re-platforming our digital channels.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Process and communicate project needs and requirements, from stakeholders and then collaborate on the problem solution
• Generate resource requirements and plan for resources involving hiring, consultants, etc.
• Maintain budgets and cost tracking based on business requirements
• Implement, configure and test feasible solutions
• Ensure project deadlines, including milestone deliverables, are achieved on time and on budget
• Liaison with software providers, including professional services, and internal development team to coordinate implementation, system enhancements and integrations
• Establish reporting and accountability for the developers and full project team

The successful candidate should have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, combined with at least 3 years of experience as a project manager
• Strong estimation skills coming from a deep knowledge of resources required and employed.
• Strong understanding of system integrations and industry best practices, processes
• Ability to leverage IT solutions and business process improvements
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience working in a retail and/or manufacturing environment is an asset
• Experience in digital transformational projects is an asset
