Site Contract Manager 

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Site Contract Manager  based in Calmore. The successful candidate will earn £50,000 to £60,000. You will work Monday to Thursday – 07:30 – 17:30 and Friday- 07:30 – 13:30. Additional hours may be required dependant on client requirements

The successful Site Contracts Manager will be responsible for the delivery of multiple projects for the company, from tendering stage through to delivery, and will be responsible for project management, contract management, scheduling, cost control, resourcing & resource management, procurement and project quality assurance.

You will plan, direct and manage the site execution of contracts on petrochemical, oil and gas and fuel storage sites. Build a network of strong customer relationships. Organise, deploy and manage competent resources to meet contract requirements. Identify, pursue and support business development opportunities. Develop strategies and innovation for ensuring efficient and profitable operational deliver.

Role Requirements

• Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of word and excel with a sound engineering background in the Petro-Chemical, Oil & Gas or similar industry.
• The position also demands a high level of mathematical / numerical competency and communication skills.
• A sound understanding, working knowledge and experience with the following industry codes and standards is desired: Construction & Design Management, ISO 45001 Health and Safety, and ASME B31.3 Process Piping.

Role Responsibilities

• Complete site surveys and produce full onsite cost breakdown for quotation purposes to include detailed scope of work, labour resource hours, plant and equipment, sub-con activities such as craneage, scaffolding, civils etc.
• Complete, review and update weekly onsite labour resource plan.
• Understand & control onsite QA & H&S requirements.
• Compile and submit project programs both for estimating and contract purposes.
• Complete CDM requirements including site kick off meeting, site progress meeting and site close out meetings.
• Liaise with workshop production department to understand material delivery requirements onsite.
• Project manage labour and sub-contractors onsite.
• Compile contract variations obtaining approval from the client and submit to estimating department for costing. Agree project progress payment on a monthly basis.
• Create new business streams to increase client base within the different sectors.
• Liaise with clients to understand existing and upcoming projects and report to MD/OD or estimating dept.
