Puget Sound Pipe is a premier wholesale distributor of pipe, valves and fittings in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska. We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to fill the Receptionist position at our Corporate Office in Kent, WA.

Hired candidates will be working onsite at the branch location. There is no relocation assistance available.

$20.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience, plus great benefits. Hiring immediately!

Basic Duties:

• Greet customers and vendors via phone, email and in-person
• Listen to, respond and/or forward voicemails
• Order and maintain inventory of office supplies–assist other branches when needed
• Place orders for business cards and uniforms for warehouse staff
• Sort and deliver all incoming mail–Sort and apply postage to all outgoing mail
• Handle all petty cash and check customer transactions on behalf of our sales team
• Ensure that office printer is adequately stocked and maintained
• Enter incoming invoices into our POS system
• Maintain employee call-list along with descriptions and parking assignments
• Perform various tasks for management/ownership group
• Assist the Will Call Office and Quality/Safety department as needed
• Upkeep the breakroom/kitchen and make calls for vending machine refills
• Make delivery appointments either by phone or email
• Do daily electronic check deposits
• Enter and scan accounts payable invoices

Desired Experience/Skills:

• Positive attitude and excellent customer service
• Confidently communicates with people over the phone and in person
• Light experience with accounting (entering invoices)
• Attention to detail and analytical/problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Dependability is a must
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalency
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Pass Background Check
