Experience:
Minimum of 10 years leading Engineers servicing commercial markets and a proven track record of sales growth through maintaining relationships

PE License – Required

Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue objectives

Extensive experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning handling industry, managing HVAC jobs with progressive responsibilities

Working Knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sign, seal and review drawings performed by the Engineering department***

Coordinate projects, manage and execute Engineering efforts in accordance with plans, specifications, design-build write up and give direction to the sales department as deemed necessary

Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets

Hold Engineer (s) accountable for meeting the targets and objectives of the company

Plan and Strategize the execution of Engineering undertakings on a regular basis

Review and revise roles and responsibilities of those under your charge when deemed operationally necessary

Monitor the client matters closely to ensure repeat business and referrals geared toward sales goal attainment

Ensure that tasks are undertaken with agreement to the customer particularities

Inform applicable members of the leadership of potential pitfalls so an alternative plan can be proactively put into motion

Ensure that the company meets forecasts and goals to successfully earns profits and gains by executing the Engineering portion of jobs within pre-established parameters

Providing direct (s) and colleagues with daily inputs and creative suggestions regarding methods and procedures that may have yet to be discussed or considered.

Develops system narratives in accordance with plans, specifications, design assist and design-build delivery.

Energy modeling and management

Be responsible for reviewing and achieving the project engineering, quality, cost, and schedule requirements

Apply mechanical engineering knowledge, principles, and best practices to meet customer requirements and specifications.

Prepares design ideas and solutions for mechanical equipment; performs engineering calculations in a timely manner.

Prepares detailed scope of work for the upgrade of existing equipment.

Review and approve submittal reviews for equipment for engineered work
