Public Sector Resourcing Hiring for Resourcing Support Job at Remote Full Time

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has been set up to provide health security for the nation by protecting from infectious disease and external hazards. It will need to take action like no other organisation previously in order to mitigate threats to health before they materialise. UKHSA will be a trusted source of advice to government and to the public.

Our job is to process recruitment requests from the business, making sure we are compliant with the Civil Service Commissions Recruitment Principles and other legislative requirements.

We are recruiting for multiple positions in Resourcing support.

As Resourcing Support your main responsibilities would be to:

• Support recruitment campaigns ensuringrecruitment activities adhere to the Civil Service principles of open & fair competition
• Ensuring that adverts are correctly placed on approved job boards
• Ensuring that the information input on HR systems is accurate and maintained
• Managing the shared team mailboxes providing trusted information and support to internal and external stakeholders. Assigning queries to individual members of the team as appropriate and tracking responses ensuring a timely response
• Maintaining the recruitment inbox and ensuring urgent issues are flagged with the relevant colleagues
• Ensuring that sift and interview packs are sent to Vacancy holders, providing Vacancy Holders with all guidance needed
• Liaising with various stakeholders across the team and within the business to ensure all are supported
• Set up interviews and send interview invites to the panels, ensuring they have all the relevant guidance and information needed for the interview to take place.
• Assisting with any candidate queries in the lead up to the interview taking place and offering an exceptional candidate experience
• Carry out DBS checks (Disclosure and Barring Services) for all staff. To ensure that appropriate checks of identity and right to work is carried out and ensure that all references and occupational health checks are collated
• Deliver recruitment and selection training as and when required
• Preparing, maintaining and up-dating the recruitment and personal files for each employee ensuring that they are kept up to date and that the Data Protection Act is adhered
• Accurate data input into HR systems, with expertise and experience in managing complex data using Excel
• Maintaining internal HR practices ensuring all work carried out meets compliance and is in line with departmental policy and procedures
