Construction Implementation Manager – (Inside IR35)

As a Construction Implementation Manager – (Inside IR35) your main responsibilities would be:
Commercial programme management role to implement change that embeds category Management principles into the commercial process across the Construction category. Leading the development of the Category Management operating model for construction that is designed to deliver cash and non-cash benefits in line with the Category Strategy.
Map commercial approvals process and identify CatMan “insertion points” and analyse process changes in the key areas of budget planning (Annual Budget Cycle/ABC and Command Infrastructure Demand Pipeline/CIDP) development noting any changes to processes or systems (CIDP tool, Digital Approval Tool);
Analyse changes/friction points, develop proposals for fixes/resolution and engage key stakeholders to agree changes.
Align processes to Benefits Capture methodology in line with the Benefits Manager and “Guiding Hand” (PMO)
Develop further reporting and governance in support of the Acquisition and Approvals Transformation Programme (AATP), support other Categories in the ongoing development of the AATP process in order to streamline strategy development.
Map the approvals process and highlight issues that act as potential blocks to delivery of strategic principles for Cat A-D projects
Implementation of Construction Playbook and Constructing the Gold Standard strategies through the elements of the Category Strategy that apply
Applicants will have one of the following qualifications:
Quantity Surveying and/or Commercial Programme Management background incl RICS, CIPS, CIOB, IoPM
Essential:
Active and in date SC Clearance
An understanding of construction Design and Build environments –
An understanding of construction Design and Build processes
Experience of Contract forms ie: NEC
Commercial Acumen
Negotiation skills
Change Management skills and knowledge
