Public Sector People are working with a local council in the south suburbs (LOGAN) of Brisbane to recruit an experienced Talent Acquisition Partners for a temporary contract position for 3 months with the possibility for extension!

Reporting to the HR Talent Partner the successful applicant will act as part of the People and Culture Branch, the Human Resources Talent Acquisition Partner program provides consulting advice and services, including end to end recruitment and selection, advertising and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

• You will be a core member of our Talent Acquisition team.
• sourcing and screening internal and external talent to fill a variety of roles within different branches within the organisation.
• Working closely with the Talent Lead and Talent Administration Officers you will deliver end to end recruitment processes, with a focus on providing efficient, effective and seamless customer service to Council’s hiring managers and candidates.
• Partnering with our hiring managers and Human Resources Business Partners to understand role and business requirements, you will provide ongoing talent acquisition related advice, support and education to both enable a fantastic candidate experience and ensure the department is hiring the best talent available.
• Conduct proactive sourcing activities in order to fill open positions.
• Accurate and timely preparation of letters of offer to be issued to new starters.
• Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
• Provide specialist advice and recommendations to develop effective advertising strategies that promote candidate attraction and
  maintain clients brand.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualifications in Business, Human Resource Management, Organisation Development. (Desirable)
• Local, State or Federal government experience (Highly desirable)
• Demonstrated internal recruitment or agency recruitment experience.
• Proficient with Linkedin Recruiter and Seek Talent search.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Working knowledge of the fundamentals of workforce planning and talent management.
• Detailed knowledge of and advanced skills in the use of various selection tools (including but not limited to psychometric testing,
  video interviewing, online screening, assessment centres).
