About The Position
The Lead Agent will plan, organize, direct, and participate in CSA/GOA operations for both contracted commercial flights and charter aircraft. This includes passenger check-in, security screening, baggage transfers, aircraft deicing, cleaning, lavatory services, and power unit hookups. The Lead Agent will also direct and train assigned agents, implement departmental policies, coordinate activities with air carriers and TSA, and operate ground equipment. Ensuring compliance with FAA and TSA regulations is crucial. The role involves preparing reports, updating flight information systems, coordinating communications, and handling billing and payment duties. Availability for varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Requirements
- 1-year experience in the aviation industry.
- At least six months of experience equivalent to an airline service agent, including ticketing and ramp services support.
- Must receive initial/advanced CSA/GOA Services training required by individual airlines within the probationary period.
- Thorough working knowledge of the aircraft used at the station.
- Thorough working knowledge of current FAA/TSA security directives & procedures affecting CSA/GOA Services, and general procedures for passenger processing and baggage transfers.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must obtain and maintain a current Complaint Resolution Official (CRO) certificate when required by individual airline companies.
- Must obtain a Ground Security Coordinator certificate with certification for aircraft over 61 seats within the probationary period.
- Must possess the following certificate of training upon hire: Deicing/Anti-Icing if required, Aircraft Pushback, security search, and Security Exit Door training.
- Must successfully pass a background investigation with a fingerprint-based criminal records check by Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1542, and Airport Security, as required by the TSA.
- Safety-sensitive employees must pass periodic random drug testing as required in 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 40.
- Must be able to work various assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be in good standing with the company.
- Subject to emergency call-in.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct, and participate in CSA/GOA operations for contracted commercial flights and charter aircraft.
- Oversee passenger check-in, security screening, baggage transfers, aircraft deicing, cleaning, lavatory services, and aircraft power unit hookups.
- Direct and train assigned CSA/GOA Services Agents, including new employee and ongoing in-service training.
- Maintain required training records.
- Implement departmental policy for CSA/GOA Services operations and advise management on policy issues.
- Coordinate CSA/GOA Services activities with air carrier personnel, station managers, and TSA representatives.
- Operate and train on various ground equipment such as aircraft loading bridges, baggage tugs, belt loaders, and portable stairs.
- Ensure ground equipment is maintained in good working order.
- Ensure compliance with FAA and TSA security regulations, and airline corporate rules and directives.
- Maintain emergency checklists and supplies.
- Prepare and submit verbal and written reports on ground service activities and agents.
- Update Multi-User Flight Information Display System (MUFIDS).
- Coordinate communications between the Airport, airline dispatch, and flight captain regarding manifests, weight/balance, fueling, and flight release.
- Handle business-related responsibilities including billing, payment data correction, collecting payments, and ordering supplies.
- Be available to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
