PSR Solutions Looking for Project Manager – Rail at Manchester, Greater Manchester Full Time

This is an amazing opportunity to work with a leading rail contractor on a new framework for Network Rail.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a close team working on a number of rail renewals, civils and upgrade works in the North West.

My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager who has worked on rail civil projects. On the project, you will be managing sub-contractors on site with an emphasis on the importance of health & safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver projects from design phase to completion including all handover documentation
• Review work packages and ensure scope of work is clearly defined and understood
• Chair weekly site meetings and ensure the production of accurate records of any discussions and actions
• Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, risk assessments, method statements, site waste management plans, and procurement of plant and materials are in line with company procedures

Requirements:

Candidates will hold a HND/Degree in civil engineering or equivalent and will have worked for a civil engineering or rail contractor previously. As a project Manager it is expected that you will hold a current SMSTS and be conversant with all site paperwork and reporting (WPPs etc) and be a capable communicator.
