ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a candidate with experience in Software Project Management to steip up and become our Delivery Manager.

As a Delivery Manager, you are responsible for the success of our customer project delivery. You must enjoy leading teams to understand our customers’ problems and finding solutions through process changes and the implementation of Appian and intelligent automation solutions.

You will be managing projects with mid to large scale enterprises, delivering digital process automation solutions successfully to meet our customers’ needs. To do this, you will work with Delivery team colleagues, the Engineering team, Customer Success / Infrastructure team, and Sales and Marketing. The size of projects can range from 3 month to 3-year projects, so you must be able to flex your style and approach for the scale and complexity of projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Driving projects from initiation to completion with accountability for delivering projects on time and within the commercial model
• Guaranteeing customer satisfaction by acting as a trusted advisor to the customer as a senior member of the Delivery team whilst managing quality expectations and senior stakeholders
• Providing oversight on low-medium risk projects managed by junior colleagues
• Suggesting and leading improvements to our delivery methodology and processes
• Leading and motivating teams and providing mentoring and guidance to junior Delivery team colleagues
• There is future scope for project portfolio management of customer accounts

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BRING

• Ability to lead full lifecycle projects with customers
• Ability to build effective relationships with customer stakeholders
• Ability to run workshops, deal with confrontation and negotiate
• Ability to motivate and drive productivity in a cross-functional team
• Ability to develop plans, estimates and resource models and manage delivery to timescale, cost and quality
• Has a good understanding of the different stages across the project lifecycle such as detailed design, post-implementation support
• Ability to lead and/or manage multiple projects at once
• Ability to step into the details and support technical decision making

REWARD

Salary: £50,000 – 55,000 per annum dependant on experience. Salary is reviewed every 12 months and we have a strong track record of rewarding our people for their contribution to our business.
