• We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in a well-known company in Newton, MA

• They are a national healthcare and senior living provider that offers the highest quality of care and service

• We are looking for a self-starter who is passionate about accounting and seeking an opportunity to bring their skills to a mission-driven company

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Ensure financial statements are maintained in accordance with US GAAP

• Responsible for the execution of various month-end close processes for their communities

• Prepare and/or review standard monthly journal entries and monthly reconciliations

• Audit and analysis of community-level income statements prepared by the corporate accountants

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance

• 3+ years of relevant experience

• Public accounting experience preferred but not required
