About the Opportunity:

• We are looking for a Junior Staff Accountant in a well-known private equity CPA firm in Boston, MA

• The firm has been recognized as a “Best of” within the industry and part of that is due to not only building relationships with their clients but also an emphasis on developing employees career growth

• Many of the current accountants have spent the bulk of their career here because the firm believes in creating employees path to success and development.

Junior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Fair Value, GAAP, Tax and Cash basis accounting and financial reporting for commercial clients

• Preparing and quality checking financial reports, budgets and re-projections

• Reporting necessary findings to the Accounting Manager

• Review acquisition and/or sale closing statements

Junior Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related financial field required

• 1 to 3 years of experience working within an accounting setting (internships count)

• Proficiency using MS Excel. MS Access and Quick books experience preferred
