As we continue to grow, we are seeking a full-time Software Trainer to join our team. This is a remote based role with occasional requirements to be onsite in our offices or at a client site.
Description
In this role, the successful candidate will be developing, executing training plans and materials. You will be providing comprehensive software instructions and training to PSD Citywide clients and internal employees. Responsibilities & Duties
Become the subject matter expert regarding company products such that you are the go-to resource for team members.
Creating customized training content for clients on our software.
Scheduling and delivering training sessions to clients, either on site or via webinar.
Training new hires on our software and how it relates to their roles.
Verify functionality of company products to ensure functionality meets the end user requirements.
Provide ongoing technical support of company software products.
Identifying additional opportunities for training sessions or content.
Collaborate with product specialist to review the effectiveness and efficiency of product processes and develop strategies for enhancing them.
Keeping up to date on new feature releases and including them in new training sessions.
Creating, recording, and editing training videos for Citywide software products.
Creating and maintaining software user guides for Citywide software products.
Creating and maintaining frequently asked questions pertaining to Citywide software products.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in business, computer science or other related education.
2+ years of experience in a previous training role; software industry is a bonus.
1+ years of related experience working with clients in a training environment.
Strong organizational skills, comfortable with multi-tasking and project management abilities.
Exceptional communication skills both in guiding presentations and written communication.
Professional self-starter with a commitment to constantly upgrade skills through continuous learning.
Deadline driven individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, creative, and able to collaborate with team members with professionalism and tact.
