PSC Group Hiring for HR Manager at Baton Rouge, LA Full Time

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establishes recruiting requirements for designated work locations by studying organization plans and objectives; partnering with hiring leaders to discuss needs.
• Ensures the recruitment team has high knowledge regarding each work location, the position and qualifications needed to successfully recruit and hire new employees.
• Arranges interviews by coordinating schedules with the recruitment and hiring leader teams.
• Conducts morning and afternoon team meetings to discuss progress and goals surrounding the daily recruitment focus.
• Manages all recruitment openings through an Applicant Tracking System.
• Reviews recruitment s to determine strategies to fill current openings, reduce time to fill and ensure the team’s applicants are progressing through the system stages appropriately.
• Asses the candidate application volume on a proactive basis to supply the amount and quality of applications needed for the team to fill open positions in a timely manner.
• Manages the advertising and budget of all open job requisitions on a variety of job board or social media; seeking to identify new resources as needed.
• Research contacts (new or existing) to contact community services, colleges, media, and internet sites to build applicant sources.
• Assess needs for job fairs to include being the main point of contact to coordinate and lead the hiring event.
• Leads start up recruitment projects to include collecting new work location specifications, making presentations, presenting to incumbent employees and partnering with other HR leaders to onboard new hires.
• Train and coach employees to be high performers, delegating meaningful tasks that provide development opportunities.
• Partner with the other Recruitment or HR leaders for any process improvements or projects.
• Creates or ensures that internal human resources processes are documented and revised, continuously seeking to make improvements that yield in the overall success of the business.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Participates in interviewing applicants; analyzing responses and evaluating applicants on a consistent set of qualifications to be considered for employment with the hiring leaders on an as needed basis to step in with the team.
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-5 years in a Recruitment and Leadership role.
• Must be a proactive planner with high organization skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
