We are seeking a Learning Facilitator, to be an innovative, collaborative team member in the enterprise learning & development (L&D) function that contributes to company performance by building business-critical capabilities, creating a talent pool of ready-now leaders, and driving employee engagement with workforce learning strategy and curricula that support career mobility and enterprise thinking. L&D is part of the HR Talent & Capability CoE which drives Prudential’s talent management efforts and this position will report directly to the Director of Learning Delivery . An ideal candidate for the L&D function is agile and intellectually curious, able to influence and provide thought leadership in their domain of expertise while effectively navigating ambiguity and driving business outcomes with a learner centric mindset. The individual must demonstrate business acumen and possess a passion about learning and enhancing learner engagement. Additionally, the ability to build outstanding and constructive working relationships with key stakeholders and foster an inclusive environment will be critical. All L&D team members will need to demonstrate these skills to ensure we collectively deliver optimal business value and customer impact.

Your Role

This position is responsible for delivering training to develop the skills and knowledge of newly hired employees to drive speed to proficiency and help associates reach their full potential. This human-centric training primarily includes delivery of the following: new hire, systems navigation, products/service-related modules, compliance/regulatory updates and general customer service. Target audiences are typically, but not exclusively, individual contributors. In addition, you will also be responsible for tracking and reporting in-progress and post-delivery analysis of learner performance which may result in enhancements and/or redesign of existing training materials.

You will be responsible for delivering training (both in person & virtually) to associates across the US businesses, with a primary focus on:

• Retirement Participant Service Contact Center (3 openings)
• Group Insurance Short Term Disability/Absence Claims (2 openings)
• Group Insurance Long Term Disability (2 openings)
• Annuities Contact Center (1 opening)
• Group Insurance Disabilities Contact Center (1 opening)

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate class using skill-based curricula in a way that guides and motivates associates and creates an open learning environment that encourages engagement and participation while meeting the class objectives and time limits.
• Track newly hired associates’ performance by completing reports and reviewing assessment details to predict student success and offer intervention strategies, as necessary.
• Create a positive learning climate so learners are engaged and motivated to seek clarity, fail safely, perform new tasks and apply knowledge.
• Establish credibility through business process and terminology knowledge.
• Incorporate adult learning principles/methodologies and storytelling into training delivery.
• Incorporate blended learning principles (e.g. activities, case studies, analogies, role playing, mock scenarios) into training delivery.
• Deliver content using a variety of virtual training tools and technologies.
• Encourage participation and build learner motivation by managing classroom dynamics
• Assess and act upon trainee understanding of concepts before, during, and at conclusion of training.
• Evaluate effectiveness of the program’s design and participant’s retention through program evaluations, assessments, classroom interactions, job performance metrics, manager and/or mentor feedback on expected vs. actual performance, and trainee self-evaluation.
• Adhere to all FINRA Registered Rep expectations for compliance to rules and continuing education requirements as outlined in the Broker Dealer Handbook.
• Accurately and completely populate the following reports by the established deadlines.
• Foster an inclusive environment of continuous learning and development.
• Create strong working relationships with peers and business leaders across the enterprise and across HRBPs, HR CoEs, HR Operations, and Inclusive Solutions.
• Support transformative change efforts across HR and the enterprise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred (e.g. Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, Educational Design, ISD, or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in Retirement Participant Service Contact Center, Group Insurance Short Term Disability/Absence Claims, Group Insurance Long Term Disability, Annuities Contact Center or Group Insurance Disabilities Contact Center
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills

* Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $70,600-$100,300+ discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
