Asst Controller / Account Manager / Manager In Training. Must have 5 years experience in general accounting. Must be proficient in Excel and learn new software applications quickly. 40 plus hour work week. As always, must be personable and energetic. Must be focused, organized, and not a procrastinator! : )

Must be excellent at 10 key and typing.

We handle multiple restaurant clients in multiple States. Most are multi unit operators. Restaurant knowledge is a requirement.

Outsource restaurant accounting is growing substantially in Post Covid era.

Restaurant operators are reducing in house staff and outsourcing most accounting functions for their enterprise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000 plus, upward income potential

As a Controller, you’ll monitor the client’s financial status, review staff data entry, files sales taxes, manage AP and vendor statements and manage accounting transactions to produce a clean income statement. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with risk management. Ultimately, you’ll make sure we comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits and mitigate risks.

Skills

• Work experience as a Controller or similar role
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislation
• Hands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Experience with cash management and risk assessment
• Good knowledge of accounting software
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• BSc or MSc in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CMA not necessary’
