Are you a qualified ICT and Business Studies Teacher? Are you available from January 2024?

Prospero are working exclusively with a secondary school in Wigan who are requesting CV’s for a qualified Teacher of ICT/Business Studies to join their department from January 2024. The position is full time and to Easter 2024, with the possibility to extend.

The school is an 11 to 16 mixed comprehensive of around 1185 students and 186 staff situated to the west of Wigan. They are a community of students, staff, parents and governors with a common goal. They strive for the highest standards in everything we do and graded ‘good’ by Ofsted.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Wigan
• Position – Business Studies Teacher
• Start date – January 2024
• Duration – on going
• Contract type – Full Time
• Minimum rate of pay – £38 per hour
• Hours – 8:15AM – 4:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant teaching qualification
• Previous experience working in a school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
• Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
