Prospect College Hiring for Senior Admission Representative at Washington, DC Full Time

Job Description

Prospect Colleges is a vocational school located in downtown Washington, D.C. not . We are currently in the process of expanding and need wonderful people to grow with us. One of the people we are looking for is an Admissions Representative.

The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of college level admissions experience, preferably in the vocational education field. The Admissions Representatives are responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of new students at Prospect College. Admissions Representatives report to the Director of Admissions and the School Director.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent the institution in a positive manner by acting as a first point of contact.
• Guide applicants through the application and admissions process by helping them to asses their skills, education and career goals in order to choose the education program that best matches their needs and abilities.
• Record all relevant activities, including daily telephone calls, appointments, and enrollments.
• Participate in referral events, community outreach events, and third party visits in order to generate inquiries.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Experience with CampusVue a plus but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in database systems, planning, management and decision making
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Title IV regulations and regulatory compliance preferred

• Washington, DC 20036: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

• Customer service: 3 years (Preferred)
