As a Software Developer II, a typical day for you might include the following:

• Understand and gather business requirements with minimal guidance
• Architect and design systems and solutions with minimal guidance
• Comfortable with both Windows and Linux
• Develop web-based applications
• Ability to work both with a team and on solo projects
• Ability to communicate how your program works to the rest of the team
• Participate in code review, giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Ability to work with a wide range of coworkers to gather project requirements
• A strong willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment

This job might be for you if:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of software development in a Microsoft Windows/Linux based environment
• Language and technology proficiency:

– Proficiency in either JavaScript, TypeScript, C, C++, or C#
– Proficiency in either MongoDB, Postgres, or Microsoft SQL server
– Good working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS

• Proficient at using a Microsoft Windows based computer
• Able to effectively create and maintain documents in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a team setting, as well as independently
• Typing or entering information at an equivalent of 40 words per minute

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
