THE ROLE

This role requires a highly motivated self-starter who can be a detail-oriented operator and is ready to dive into the work from day one. You will play a vital role on a small team with big goals to achieve, own big, business critical projects from start to finish; and flex your entrepreneurial muscles in a high growth company.

As Business Operations & Supply Chain Manager you will play a key role:

• Lead start to finish product execution: oversee planning, implementing, and monitoring overall supply chain strategy and overseeing operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity at every stage: from demand to delivery – across our retail and direct-to-consumer lines of business.
• Manage current suppliers of intermediate goods (ingredients/packaging) to ensure pricing, supply meet sales needs
• Work with finished goods to ensure the final product are available for sales
• Contribute to new product execution once proof of concept is complete. Involve suppliers, co-packers as needed.

THE WORK

• Manage operations, supply chain, stock demands, and special projects for ProPhase’s products in the health and wellness space
• Lead a wide range of workstreams including purchasing, supply chain, vendor management, pricing and negotiating, and coordinating fulfillment for our consumer brand product lines
• Implement ProPhase’s demand plan and coordinating with key stakeholders in the company to surface and respond to needs
• Solve logistics and supply chain issues for both new and emerging products
• Identify, select, negotiate with, and manage a roster of best fit suppliers
• Create process, time and cost efficiencies and drive meaningful business results through resourceful management approaches, software recommendations, and process improvements
• Collaborate with key stakeholders including IT, Accounting, and Operations

• Bachelor’s degree required, project management certification ideal but not required
• 4+ years of relevant experience in operations and supply chain management; OTC and/or CPG experience a plus but we are open to the right candidate with the right experience, regardless of industry
• Strong project and operational leadership skills and experience with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, suppliers, and moving parts
• Detail oriented with solid analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve problems quickly, efficiently and effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excel at cross-functional collaboration and relationship building and can handle highly complex situations that impact multiple stakeholder groups

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our Garden City, NY

• Competitive salary: $100,000-125,000 based on experience
