We’re expanding our small (but mighty) People team and are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to help us deliver the huge plans we’ve got for 2022.
THE ROLE
The HR Assistant will support the HR Manager in providing an efficient and confident service to Property Hub. Responsibility will span the whole HR framework, but with a particular focus on Talent Management (from candidate experience, through to professional development).

• Providing accurate and timely advice and guidance on all general HR and well-being issues and requests raised by colleagues and line managers, ensuring the HR Manager is consulted for complex queries
• Handling the recruitment life cycle, providing guidance and support to line managers, liaising with external agencies, screening and interviewing, delivering a strong candidate experience and managing all associated administration
• Managing all new starter and leaver processes, delivering a positive onboarding/offboarding experience
• Ensuring absence information is accurately recorded
• Managing all People information and records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date and management information is regularly reported.

Based in our vibrant Manchester office, you’ll be a key member of the team. You’ll be able to work independently when required but this role will require you to build strong relationships internally across the business.

A BIT ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong administrative experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally a SME business
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Someone who is able to easily build relationships at all levels
• Is proficient in MS Office and Teams
• Has at least 1 year’s experience in a generalist HR or recruitment role
• Is CIPD qualified or is working towards this
• Has a basic understanding of standard People policies and procedures
• Is highly organised and diligent about detail, with an aptitude to work quickly and accurately.
