We’re looking for someone who is creative, open minded and possesses a can-do attitude who can work independently to get things done to a high quality within tight deadlines.

Proper QA is a quality assurance service provider to the tech industry. We have the facilities to test all types of software but we specialise in mobile, PC, and browser-based applications.

The hours vary and can be unpredictable depending on how often we’re engaged by our clients. We’re often called in at short notice so flexibility is key.

Our head office in in Edinburgh but we are currently working from home so location is not a critical hiring factor.

Experience is a requirement for the role. Minimum 6 months of experience within a testing/problem solving environment.

SKILLS REQUIRED: * Successful applicants will need excellent communication skills and be computer literate.

• Must be able to navigate and use web based bug databases

• Technical mind-set and an analytical approach to problem solving

• Team players essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute test cases against a wide range of software including med-tech, App’s, Websites, Videogames, etc.

• Work directly with development teams (you will often be main point of contact)

• Write test cases that will be used against the software you’re testing.
