Propel Counseling Group, LLC Hiring for School-Based Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Full Time

In search of 4 experienced and motivated individuals to provide mental health interventions within a school-based mental health program Dickenson County, Virginia.

We are looking for clinically motivated individuals who know the difference between a solid mental health intervention and just shooting the breeze with clients. Responsibilities include providing collaborative mental health services driven by individualized treatment plan to students in school setting of Dickenson County, Virginia. Coordination is expected with guardians/parents weekly as well as school faculty and administration as needed. Some administrative duties also are expected. We welcome fresh ideas and input as we launch an all-inclusive program making mental health support available to all students regardless of having insurance or medicaid.

A Bachelor’s degree is required with experience providing mental health support in a school-based setting preferred. Must be registered or able to register in the state of Virginia as a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP-C or QMHP-T). Must be in good standing with references of past clinical experience available. Please note: past experience with providing Therapeutic Day Treatment will be preferred but not mandatory.

We utilize SimplePractice management system making documentation completely digital and easily completed during sessions and within a normal workday.

We offer free licensure supervision to Residents in Counseling within the state of Virginia. We also offer, on a limited basis, paid internships to highly motivated individuals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
