DESCRIPTION:

The Accounting Manager contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing the areas of: Finance, Accounting and Budgeting. This position is responsible for the production of periodic financial s, maintenance of a robust system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the companies ed financial results and ensure that ed results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

DUTIES:

· Analyze and present financial s in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) – clearly communicating monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting s, including financial covenants.

· Perform monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance ing in a timely and accurate manner.

· On a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, analyze and on financial performance variances, actual to budget.

· Full accountability for DEAL/Contract administration and the associated Vendor receivables including responsibility of ensuring that the DEAL’s are functioning and tracking correctly.

· Actively manage ERP setup relative to all items that have financial implications i.e credits, adjustments, order postings, etc.

· Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.

· Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis and prepare related journal entries.

· On a daily basis, manages cash flow and prepares cash flow forecasts.

· Responds to inquiries from Department Managers and Executives regarding financial results.

· Responsible for filing tax forms including 1099’s.

· Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.

· Prepare for, coordinate and lead the annual audit/review process, liaise with external auditors and CPA throughout the process.

· Oversee and lead the annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Shareholders. Administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep the Shareholders and Executive Management Team informed on any material variances to Plan.

· Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized and disposed of as appropriate.

· Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.

· Comply with local, state, and federal government ing requirements and tax filings.

· Oversee the management of all leases and other financial commitments.

· Oversee the management and processes relating to all financing activities. Liaise with lenders.

· Will contribute to the overall success and continued evolution of ProPacific Fresh by creatively adding value to the organization whether indicated within these job duties or not. Will partake in tasks assigned that are outside the scope of this job description, but within the capabilities of the employee.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• GAAP: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
