Prompta Inc. Hiring for Lead Site Reliabilibity Engineer(SRE) at Remote Full Time

Requirements: -( Need to be physically in Canada)

-Leads the delivery team through the engineering effort to support the program timelines. Responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.

-Site reliability engineers create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics.

-Coordinating with global team on staffing and training.

-Client facing

-Ensure deliverables of the team

-Hands on SRE

-Assisting to build a global team of SRE’s that are providing L3 support on different programs and custom applications

Other Requirements

• 7+ years of SRE experience
• Experience leading a team of SRE’s
• Experience programming in at least one of the following languages: Python, Perl, Go, or C/C++.
• Experience in CI/CD, Kubernetes
• Cluster management, monitoring, ability to fix both application and infrastructure issues
• Experience with S2I, Docker, Podman, Skopeo.
• Excellent CI/CD automation skills
• Good understanding of Jenkins, CI/CD architecture
• Monitoring experience – Stack driver or Prometheus or Azure equivalent
• Operational readiness – SLI/SLO, DevOps experience
• Service mesh – Istio
• OpenShift experience
• Poly-Cloud experience
• Experience with cloud native languages
