• Populates and maintains “real-time data” in the EuroMIDS Financial Management System
• Track and analyze execution data and prepare status reports, initial and revisions, within the time required to meet program scheduled deadlines
• Assist and prepare Financial Accounting Datasheets (FADs) for MIDS contracting efforts with EuroMIDS
• Maintains the EuroMIDS Financial Management System as necessary
• Prepares MIDS-LVT Financial Management Board (FMB) presentations to obtain payment approval for EuroMIDS and MIDS International Program Office (IPO) dollar vouchers
• In conjunction with NAVWAR 01- 04, utilize online banking services and/or standard operating procedures for each Nations’ bank for disbursements in Euros
• Follow all international banking practices and procedures of all five MPO nations to include online banking procedures in both USD and Euros
• Support the MIDS-LVT BFM with bank communications and help gather the documents required by the banks
• Coordinate with the MIDS European and U.S. Banks to ensure U.S. Dollar (USD) and Euro deposits are received on time and wire transfers are successfully executed
• Assist in reconciling any errors with the banks
• Assist in the collection and allocation of MIDS European Nations’ funding, third party nations’ contributions and fees for both MIDSLVT and MIDS JTRS products and ensure the transactions are accurately reported with Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)
• Prepare both USD and Euro quarterly financial reports to the MIDS European Nations in accordance with the MIDS-LVT Financial Procedures Document
• Generate program budgets and deposit schedules in accordance with the financial procedures document in both USD and Euros. Once approved, prepare deposit request letters that address both USD and Euro requirements for the respective nation and track the progress of the request in MIDSVue system (or the approved MIDS Correspondence system)
• Assist in the preparation of the Steering Committee Financial Presentation to the MIDS Nations
• Gather the data required for the presentation, provide appropriate analyses as assigned, and format it as necessary to display complex business information in an understandable format
• Assist in the preparation of the MIDS International Review Board (MIRB) and MIDS Third Party Sales Working Group Financial Presentations
• Gather the data required for the presentation, provide appropriate analyses as assigned, format the presentation as necessary to display complex business information in an understandable format, and present the information at international meetings, if requested
• In conjunction with DFAS, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) team, and vendors, shall assist in tracking, recording and balancing of levy payments to the five MIDS Nations from third party sales nations
• Assist in FMS funding establishment, execution, allocation and transfer in N-ERP, budget exhibit development, submission and execution, FMS case reconciliation, financial anomaly resolution, and FMS case closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree preferred)
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in DoD providing financial management support
• Experience with European Multifunctional Information Distribution System (EuroMIDS) specific experience and/or International Banking/Finance
• Two years hands-on experience with NERP
• Experience working with FMS
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Clearance: Secret

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $120,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
