Overview: ProMechBC is a Vancouver-based certified mobile EV shop that specializes in supplying and repairing e-bikes and electric scooters. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Field Service Representative to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service and promoting sustainable transportation solutions.

Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

• Provide professional and friendly service to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for e-bike and scooter services, ensuring efficient pickup and delivery.

Bike and Scooter Handling:

• Collect e-bikes and electric scooters from customers for repairs or maintenance, ensuring proper handling and attention to detail.
• Safely transport the bikes and scooters back to the shop after service completion, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining their condition.

Telephone Operations:

• Answer incoming calls and relay messages accurately and promptly, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Provide information about ProMechBC’s products, services, and policies to potential and existing customers.

Physical Activity:

• Perform physical tasks related to the position, including handling and occasionally lifting bikes and scooters, ensuring efficient service delivery.

Weekend Availability:

• Be available to work on weekends as required, as some customer interactions and services may be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team Player:

• Collaborate effectively with the ProMechBC team, fostering a friendly and productive work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to contribute to the positive atmosphere of our location.

Requirements:

• No previous experience is required; we welcome individuals with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the EV industry.
• Must be physically capable of handling bikes and scooters, including occasional lifting.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach to provide excellent service.
• Flexibility to work on weekends as needed.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: $16.75-$17.00 per hour

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• 4 hour shift

• Vancouver, BC V6A 4K4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
