Full Job Description
SUMMARY: Logistics support to Tactical Manager, WH supervisor, and Logistics Leader. Assist as a backup for entering and coordinating customer orders, ordering and scheduling materials and components to meet the customer’s needs, assist in front office operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following: Logistics Operations 1. Assist in creating invoices for freight and customer production and service orders. 2. Assist on logistical requirements for inbound and outbound shipments. 3. Assist on directing warehouse personnel to ensure timely delivery of materials and provide immediate notification of all problems affecting delivery 4. Prepare and maintain spreadsheets from logistical and accounting related data. 5. Interface with customers on progress and delivery of daily orders 6. Interface with various vendors on supplier development 7. CHRW scheduling 8. JD WEB EDI ASN Office Operations 1. Manage and order office and warehouse supplies as needed. 2. Assist on scheduling all visitors 3. Backup for front office
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Perform housekeeping duties in the office area. 2. Reception support when the receptionist is absent. 3. Answer and route calls. 4. Participate in customer visits as required 5. Assist Director of Operations in all human resource functions
