HR Manager (Part Time)

ProfileTree is an award winning content marketing agency based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, who helps their clients generate leads and sales through structured digital strategy, sleek web design and engaging digital content.

Hybrid working is available for this role. You will be able to choose a pattern of working which can incorporate both working from home and/or working in the Belfast office over the course of the week. (Please note that this role is based permanently in Northern Ireland. We are not in a position to offer this as a permanent remote position at this time.)

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Manage and oversee the full end to end in talent acquisition and recruitment and selection processes
• Manage the administration of employee-related paperwork, including but not limited to employment contracts, new starter packs, employee handbook or formal notices of termination
• Conduct employee onboarding and help organise the required training & development initiatives
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise
• Oversee and support managers in dealing with employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management issues
• Manage the learning and development of employees to ensure that employees are ready to take the next step in their ProfileTree career
• Updating, training and advising managers on HR and relevant soft skills, sourcing outside training where required
• Manage the review and implementation of human resource policies/updates as required
• Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, providing detailed reports on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis to management teams
• Organise and monitor administration of annual employee performance reviews
• Maintain up-to-date employee files and records
• Engagement and wellbeing activities
• Ensure compliance with employment laws (UK, NI & ROI), reviewing employment and working conditions to maintain compliance
• Assist in the development and delivery of HR projects and plans that improve organisational capability and performance. Including development of HR systems to improve processes and automate regular tasks
• Management of the HR Function including the maintenance of all fair employment monitoring information and accurate completion of annual returns and Article 55
• Support data gathering and reporting for payroll and ensuring that employee salaries are correct prior to being paid each month
• Administer compensation and benefit plans

Essential Criteria

• 4+ years minimum of proven recent experience within a HR role to include proven experience and knowledge of HR Functions (recruitment, training & development etc)
• Experience of working both in a team and independently
• CIPD or equivalent HR qualification required
• In depth understanding of up-to-date employment laws (UK, NI and ROI) and disciplinary procedures
• Experience of fair employment monitoring information and accurate completion of annual returns and Article 55

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience of management of Health and safety
• Previous experience of working in a standalone role in a HR environment
