Professional Tutors is a nationwide tutoring company that has been around for over 30 years and is a certified Non Public Agency through the California Department of Education. Our Special Education Department is contracted with 100 school districts and/or local agencies. We do offer a variety of services from Academic Instruction, Occupational Therapy, Language and Speech, Counseling and Mental Health Services and are currently looking for a Special Education Teacher to provide Academic Instruction to students within Ventura,CA.

Our Services are provided either at the home or a public library which is at the parents choice. Tutors are able to create their own schedules with the parents based on their availability. Most parents do have a preference of Afternoons, Evenings and occasionally weekends. Tutors do have the right to accept or Deny any student that is offered to them if they feel they are not as experienced.Students will be given to you from your geographical location unless you are willing to travel which we do provide Mileage Reimbursement and Travel Time in between students home.

Communicate ongoing student progress with parents and case manager

Collaborate with the families for students need in subject support

Qualifications and Skills

Hold a valid CA Issued Special Education Credential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

• Special Edujcation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CA Issued Special Education Credential (Required)
