Portfolio Accountant – Private Equity

Our client is looking for a qualified candidate who would want to apply as a Portfolio Accountant to handle all consolidations, investor reporting, audits, partnering with lenders, and take everything from the property accountants and package into a strong reporting package structure.

What To Know:

• Pay rate of $90k annual base + 10-15% bonus
• Competitive benefit packages

Responsibilities:

• Creating monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow projections
• Maintaining full responsibility for the general ledger, associated account reconciliations, and depreciation work papers
• Preparing financial statements, footnotes, and work papers for annual audits
• Assisting in the preparation of year-end tax returns and associated work papers

Requirements and Skills:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA is preferred
• 3 yrs of either commercial or residential real estate experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills with great attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Office, mostly Excel; knowledge of Yardi software is a plus
