The Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the People department. Reporting to the Head of People you will play a vital role in raising the quality of our hiring. Working across all departments you will be head-hunting and hiring top talent. This means, we need a proactive, creative and team playing individual with recruitment experience who would love to be part of a highly successful company.

What You will Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining a network of standout candidates, to fill current and future permanent roles and establish Professional Development Group as an employer of choice

• Managing the end-to-end recruitment process: manager briefings, CV inspection, shortlisting candidates, interviewing candidates etc

• Contributing to recruitment best practice and processes

• Creating a world class hiring and candidate experience for Professional Development Group

• Own and provide regular recruitment metrics to inform the leadership team on progress

Note, typical roles you could be hiring for are Sales Managers, Marketing professionals, Conference Producers, Training Managers. Roles are at varying levels.

What You’ll Need

• Recruitment experience from either an agency or in-house background

• Proven success in direct hiring methods and talent pipeline building

• To be comfortable with creating job descriptions and adverts that would appeal to the target market

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, building strong relationships across the business

• Excellent relationship building and candidate management skills, building strong relationships with candidates

• Strong team player, good humoured with a collaborative approach – happy to ‘get stuck in’ as needed

• To be enthusiastic and motivated, someone that loves a challenge

• Passionate about providing excellent service delivery

• Excellent reporting skills

Desirable

• Recruitment experience in the Events sector
