We are looking for an * Accounting Trust Specialist. *This team player provides support to the trust and treasury functions by handling detail transaction reporting, reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and accounts payable remittance. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organizational skills with the ability to prioritize required tasks with an eye for detail and accuracy.

A day in the life of a PROFESSIONAL Accounting Trust Specialist:

• Generate daily, weekly and monthly Trust Statements and invoices for clients
• Prepare and upload journal entries for Trust activities into accounting system (Intacct)
• Execute electronic data transfers between accounting and operating systems
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly check and ACH remittance out of Trust accounts
• Create custom client letters, invoices, statements and summaries for clients as needed
• Assist in tracking and assembling Trust and invoices
• Communicate and respond to client questions and concerns timely
• Assist with reconciliation between accounting system and custom software
• Manage trust related unclaimed property
• Special projects as assigned by the Trust and Treasury Manager, Controller, and CFO
• Test and troubleshoot enhancements to custom software
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of an AA degree in Accounting, Bachelor preferred
• Previous bookkeeping experience, 1-3 years preferred

• Customer/client service experience
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong work ethic and common sense
• Good communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Skilled at juggling multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with accuracy
• Positive attitude and able to work independently as well as with a team
