QUICK SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Reporting to COO, dotted line to US Controller, the Finance/Accounting Analyst will provide assistance with Probi’s upgrades to its ERP system as well as help design and contribute to Probi’s regular financial planning processes including decision support, budgeting, and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in finance, sales, operations, and have a systems mind-set having worked on business process realignment and/or ERP implementation projects in the past. This role will advance and leverage Probi’s existing systems and tools to provide complex analyses that shape and drive business strategy and US Operations.

This role will be the point person between the COO, Finance and Sales. Forecasting, reports, working with plant managers and quality to be able to build reports needed grow our business.

• Analytical thinker with enthusiasm for complex problem solving, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Solid familiarity with corporate finance concepts, financial modeling, forecasting, KPI tracking; experience in a finance function working with other critical cross functional teams a must. This position does not require a CPA.
• Experience working with ERP systems and requirements.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to produce error-free documents.
• Strong Excel/financial modeling skills, familiarity with data analytics tools, business planning consolidation, forecasting, costing and analysis.
• Proven ability to operate independently, synthesize complex data, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with any of the following technology solutions: Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Great Plains, ERP, Salesforce.
• Good communication skills and able to communicate thoughtfully to a broad network of stakeholders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support ERP upgrades and implementation and software systemization projects to facilitate decision-making, planning, and reporting.
• Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders across the organization to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Analyze current and historical data and drive the financial analysis, forecasting, product pricing and cost/planning analysis.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, or year-end closing processes if needed.
• Analyzing and interpreting data to understand key drivers of financial results and assisting with revenue and expense forecasting during annual budget processes.
• Regularly provide leadership team with rolling monthly forecast to help accelerate decision making.
• Consult with Leadership and operational management on financial performance issues and the formulation of plans of action when needed.
• Ensure strong business partnering and coordination with critical business operations, production, and inventory.
• Support strategic initiatives/corporate development functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum 2-4 years of financial analyst, senior analyst, FP&A, and/or corporate finance management experience.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field.
• Experience with ERP implementation processes or regular use of ERP systems a must.
• Strong knowledge of analytics with demonstrated proficiency of advanced analytical tools such as BI tools and expert level knowledge and aptitude in MS Excel.
