General Description

The Order Entry Agent position is a key contributor to our fast-paced day to day operations – providing exceptional customer service by working with the order management and Inside sales team. This position is a focal point for our order processing including order entry, new customer set up, and price checking. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic, fast-paced, high performing customer support team.

Responsibilities

Answer customer calls

Assess and understand customer needs and expectations

Process sales orders in the order entry platform

Validate and approve orders

Working in conjunction with inside sales

Track requests in order to respond to customers as soon as possible

Work experience requirements

Must have 2-3 years of experience in customer service or significant sales – Experience with computer systems

Bilingual preferred

Ability to identify and solve problems

Ability to adapt to change

Ability to work well in a team

Important – Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word software

Education requirements

General requirements

Must be highly organized, with a well-developed ability to multi-task.

Possess ability to quickly learn and retain vendor-related information as well as company policies and procedures

Ability to interact with others in a businesslike and professional manner

Ability to efficiently and calmly work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
