In partnership with the entire ProAmpac Human Resources Team, the Recruiter will be responsible to maintain, support and enhance the organization’s talent, culture and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. They will have responsibility to execute HR processes, policies and programs.

  • Develop, maintain, manage and update the Talent Acquisition process and systems.
  • Build a pipeline to meet the talent needs of the organization, including but not limited to outreach to potential active and passive candidates via Technical Schools, job fairs, college, high school, state/federal agencies, on-line, social networking or in person.
  • Complete phone screens and initial interviews.
  • Conduct annual Workforce Analysis to align to budget and workforce plan.
  • Partner with site leadership on regular basis to understand current talent gaps, organizational changes and quickly adjust recruiting plans to prioritize business needs accordingly.
  • Conduct annual Affirmative Action Planning process, manage DE Works system and execute AAP Action Plans
  • Assist with onboarding and retention activities while following all federal, local and company requirements.
  • Encouraging candidate interest by promoting the organization as an employer of choice w/in the local community
  • Approach role with an analytical/data-driven mindset to track and identify areas of improvement
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development from a four-year college; or three plus years related experience and / or training in a large manufacturing organization; or equivalent combination of the two.
  • Four plus (4+) years experience of recruitment in manufacturing both hourly and salaried positions.
  • SHRM certifications a plus.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
