POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the financial accounting operations of the company in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

· Maintain and oversee all financial accounting procedures and processes.

· Prepare, maintain, and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and other financial records and reports.

· Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements are accurate and submitted on a timely basis in accordance with public company.

· Prepare and analyze reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position accurately and timely, as required.

· Report on financial performance and preparation of monthly reports for leadership review.

· Analyze past results, perform variance analysis; identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.

· Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

· Create a consolidated budget and review with management for approval.

· Review monthly reconciliations.

· Arrange and oversee financial audits.

· Follows all company, industry standard and OSHA safety procedures.

· Provides support to other departments, as needed.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration.

· 5+ years experience in all aspects of accounting.

SKILLS:

· Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions.

· Must possess excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable interacting with management.

· Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis skill required.

· Strong quantitative and analytical competency.

· Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
