PRMA Educational Manager Description

Overview: The Private Risk Management Association is looking for an Educational Manager. This individual will work closely with the Executive Director, other staff, and association members in executing key educational initiatives to support PRMA’s mission.

The Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) is a member-owned independent nonprofit founded by leaders in the private risk management and insurance industry. PRMA’s mission is to improve the advice, coverage and service provided to the high-net-worth insurance consumer through education and increased awareness. PRMA offers specialized education and information and establishes standards and credentials while raising awareness and advocating for the niche and consumers served.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage PRMA’s education committee which is responsible for developing ideas and approaches for training our membership.
• Consult with our members on educational support and needs within their companies and agencies to determine how PRMA can assist in their growth.
• Design and develop new educational material, including job aids and tools which can further enhance PRMA’s offerings. This also includes The Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) certification program.
• Determine when existing educational material requires updates to coincide with changes within the industry.
• Work with the PRMA Summit committee to establish the educational sessions to be delivered at our annual Summit.
• Support PRMA’s chapters with new educational topics and support materials for their in-person or virtual meetings.
• Assist with designing training invitations and marketing material to attract membership to our new and existing offerings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4 years of insurance personal lines experience.
• 3-5 years of experience working in a training department
• Proficient with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of responsiveness to all inquiries.
• Experience with online platforms like GoToWebinar, Zoom and Higher Logic is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Canva.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
