Private Home Support is Looking For Caregiver at Victoria, BC Full Time

This position is supporting an articulate woman with physical disabilities in her forties. She lives in her own condo in Oak Bay, enjoys time with friends and family, cooking and art. She has a 5-year-old daughter who she spends time with regularly but lives with her father.

Duties include personal care like showering, dressing and assisting with transfers to and from her wheelchair, meal preparation, accompanying the client on errands and activities, driving her lift-equipped minivan, and keeping her home and belongings clean and tidy.

Three shifts available incl. Fri. night to Saturday morning (sleeping overnight in a private bedroom); Saturday morning to Sunday morning and Sunday morning to Monday morning. Saturday and Sunday shifts have a 4 hour afternoon/evening break. Remuneration: Friday night shift $180, Saturday and Sunday $380 per shift.

Only those who are currently eligible to work in Canada, and have a valid work permit, permanent residency or are a citizen, are Covid-19 vaccinated, physically fit to assist client with transfers (60 lbs). Class 5 Driver’s license required.
