Job DescriptionPosition Overview
Part-time Art teacher required for a private homeschool with 3 to 10 students in varied school levels. Seeking a candidate who is flexible, driven and capable of helping students excel.

The Art teacher should enjoy working with young children to teach fundamentals in drawing and painting. Candidate must enjoy crafts and be skilled in various mediums to include in their teaching program. Ideal candidates can teach sewing along with strong skills in drawing and painting.

We are looking for bright, energetic, and dedicated applicants, who are passionate about their work and have an optimistic view of the capacities of their students. Qualified applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree.

This role requires flexibility and vision to create a unique schooling experience for a small group of children. On site and distance learning could be required.

** It would be a large bonus if this candidate could also teach a foreign language. This would add additional hours to this role.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Art or related field
• Proven experience as a Teacher
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
• Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.

Physical requirements: The essential physical requirements for this job include:

• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit on the floor and rise from the floor without adult assistance.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Salary: $35.00 – $65.00 per hour
