Private Equity Fund Hiring for Investor Relations – Senior Associate at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

The Role:

They are looking for an experienced individual to join the Investor Relations Private Equity team as a Senior Associate.

The Senior Associate role is responsible for supporting the investor experience across fundraising and over the life of multiple funds including by drafting high quality and insightful investor communication materials to their growing base of existing and prospective investors (institutions, family offices, endowments, foundations, superannuation and pension funds).

The successful candidate thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment. They have experience working in financial services and can also demonstrate excellent PowerPoint, writing, organisational and communication skills. They can also listen to and understand the key activities within the Private Equity business and Portfolio companies to distill the key messages that are important to the Investor base, and communicate those key messages effectively through written materials. This role will work closely with and to the Program Director, Investor Relations. We are looking for candidates that can successfully demonstrate that they have experience in some areas of the key responsibilities described below. We acknowledge that candidates may not have experience in all of these areas and the client is willing to provide the successful candidate with training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investor ing and Client Service
• Working with the IR Program Director to execute the Investor Relations Program
• Assisting in collaborating and drafting investor communications including the Quarterly Investor , Investor notices, LPAB materials, LinkedIn posts and investor presentations across multiple funds, including collaborating across the organisation as needed
• Support in preparing for key investor events across multiple funds, including 1:1 meetings, webinars and AGM
• Working with the IR Client Services to ensure the CRM is up to date and all investor queries are responded to in an accurate and timely manner Fundraising
• Collaborating across the organisation to prepare materials for the data room and maintaining the data room
• Assist in preparing high quality due diligence materials and incorporating subject matter expertise from Legal, Finance and Operations: Due Diligence Questionnaires, fund performance metrics, cashflow forecasts, PPM and onsite due diligence packs.
• Assist in drafting bespoke investor due diligence questionnaires and responses during the live fundraising process
• Assist in preparing investor presentation materials for prospecting roadshows during pre-marketing and active marketing
• Support the investor relations team across the end-to-end private equity fundraising process

Key Attributes:

• 5+ years of business experience
• Highly polished communication skills, both verbally and in written form
• Financial and investing literacy to be able to prepare communication materials to Investors
• Highly organised self-starter with an ability to deliver to tight deadlines
• Enjoys collaborating with others, working in a team environment and developing other members of the team
• Confident, friendly and professional
