Medical Assistant

MUST:

Experienced Medical Assistant

2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant

2+ years of experience working both front and back office

2+ years of experience with healthcare insurance

1+ years of experience working in a holistic wellness center

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must have computer proficiency

Allergy testing experience would be helpful

Certification or registered as a medical assistant

DUTIES:

Coordinate patient flow

Take vitals

Perform EKGs

Phlebotomy

Assist with IV Nutrition therapy and allergy testing

Patient education

Schedule appointments

Answer the telephone

Collect insurance information

Ensure necessary forms are completed

Perform a multitude of administrative tasks

Contribute to office and patient workflow organization

Order and stock supplies

Assist with other duties as assigned
