Prism Integrated Solutions Inc is Looking for Purchasing Analyst Full Time

Our Company

Prism Integrated Solutions Inc. is an oilfield equipment manufacturing company with 35+ close knit employees located in the small town of Forestburg in rural Alberta, about 2 hours southeast of Edmonton. Our products include flare stacks, flare ignition systems, tank vents, gas blanket controllers, detonation and flame arrestors, freeze protection, and chemical injectors. We take great pride in fabricating products that protect the environment abiding by some of the most stringent regulations in the world and that can operate in the harshest of weather conditions.

We are seeking a highly organized professional to manage our purchasing process and vendor relationships. The Purchaser is responsible for negotiating and awarding new contracts, tracking inventory and providing support in case disputes arise between our company and our vendors. We’re looking for a motivated and goal-oriented team player who will take initiative when necessary, solve problems quickly and efficiently, and ensure that all of our procurement goals are met on time.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods from vendors in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Purchase goods in sufficient quantities to meet production needs.
• Monitor the quality of purchased goods.
• Meet cost, scheduling, and quality objectives when purchasing materials.
• Handle obsolete or defective items.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
