Priory Group Hiring for HR Administrator at York Full Time

Stockton Hall is an independent sector hospital (part of the Priory Group), which is highly specialised for patients who require a medium secure care setting. The patient group consists of men and women with Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and men with mild to moderate Learning Disability/Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

We are looking for a generalist Human Resources Administrator to join our HR department on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the HR advisor, you will deliver a range of HR administrative functions including, but not limited to;

• Answering any employee queries about people or HR-related issues and helping to resolve them
• Maintaining an absence database, entering sickness, unpaid leave etc., creating monthly reports and escalating issues as appropriate
• Reporting on HR metrics
• Assisting with the monthly payroll
• Supporting the flexible working application process, ensuring an outcome is decided within the set timescale
• Drafting and issuing letters to employees, ensuring where necessary any follow up actions are completed
• Managing the leaver process, conducting exit interviews, processing paperwork
• Creating presentations
• Undertaking other general office duties to support the team

The post holder will also have the opportunity to be invloved in projects as they arise.

The successful candidate will need to be an organised individual who is adaptable and has good interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to have a good level of knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office software.

Holding or working towards a CIPD qualification would be desirable for the position, as would experience of working in a similar environment.
