PRI is principally funded by an annual fee levied on its global signatory base of some 5000, and growing, investment companies. The Credit Controller is an integral position within the finance department and a key figure in supporting the financial functioning of the business. This role will report to the Management Accountant and be responsible for the credit control function of the organisation across an international membership base.

Core Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage and collect all outstanding debts
• Be prepared to work on occasion in different time zones
• Manage temporary credit control assistants from April – July each year
• Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox, proactively and promptly resolving both signatory and internal issues and queries
• Regularly update all signatory changes on Salesforce (CRM) and Sage X3 (ERP)
• Liaise with our international signatory relationships team and account managers where necessary
• Prepare relevant reports
• Assist with raising invoices
• Check and post receipts and reconcile bank accounts on Sage X3
• Assist Finance team with ad-hoc tasks in off-peak
• Demonstrate the Company values whilst carrying out day to day duties

Technical Competencies & Experience:

• Significant Credit Control experience dealing with multi-currencies
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, on a one-to-one basis and by phone with a range of people including, internal and external customers, managers & directors
• Experience dealing with high volume of debtors and queries on daily basis
• Basic accounting knowledge an advantage
• Computer literate including Microsoft Office, CRM software’s, finance software’s.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with staff in all areas of the organisation. The ability to foster an inclusive working environment
• Able to manage workload effectively and efficiently
• Strong team player, showing support for colleagues and manager
• Salesforce and Sage X3 systems knowledge would be beneficial but not a requirement
• Language skills, other than English, desirable
