Principal HVAC Hiring for Cost Controller Job at Dungannon, Northern Ireland Full Time

Principal HVAC are a well-established modern, progressive company, providing a professional and efficient Air Conditioning and Ventilation service to our Clients throughout the UK & ROI. We are looking for a Project Cost controller / Quantity Surveyor to work alongside our team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing of project contractual matters, sales and purchase invoices
• Producing accurate project costings for site labour, bonus schemes and accommodation costings etc
• Formulating findings into weekly/monthly costing reports, along with detailed project costing reports
• Producing projections for new and existing projects based on its invoicing and buying requirements
• Identify key KPI’s and trends, within Project costs, producing feedback for senior management
• Confirming the processing of Project payment claims ensuring they are within project payment parameters.
• Helping in the development of our Access based costing system
• Assisting with part of the general accountant’s admin and credit control tasks.
• Your role will ultimately assist in ensuring Principal HVAC can meet its financial return targets
• Identifying areas to increase company profitability, while providing a cost-effective service to our customers.
• You may be expected to work additional hours in order to meet various financial deadlines

Experience & Qualifications

• A methodical accurate approach to data/cost analysis, within the construction industry
• Experience with financial costings and projections
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, and Sage 50 accounts
• Good communication skills, English speaking, and is numbers orientated
• Honest with good work ethic

As a member of Principal HVAC, you will receive the following entitlements,

• You’ll be paid monthly, by BACs directly into your account
• Your annual salary (£TBC) is divided into monthly payments
• Standard Company Pension
• Mileage paid for business miles
• Standard working hours: 8hrs/day, 40hrs/wk, starting time 8:30am, Flexible working hours
• As salary paid, overtime not applicable, though due to project deadlines overtime may be required
• Receive 29 days paid holiday days in the year, 10 days of which are free to book
• Attend and assist as required company Technical AC & Vent training courses
• Review will take place at 3, 6 & 12mths in the first year, and yearly thereafter

Job Types: Contract, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
