Position Summary
Princeton University Library Special Collections seeks an innovative and collaborative Librarian for Graphic Arts. The Librarian will acquire and teach with graphic arts materials, often in conjunction with the Marquand Library of Art & Archaeology. They will champion access to Princeton’s outstanding Graphic Arts Collection, which began in 1940 when Elmer Adler brought his collection to Princeton as an experiment in the study and teaching. They will engage diverse audiences through classroom teaching, cataloging initiatives, exhibitions, and digital projects at the University and beyond. The Librarian will also engage proactively with practitioners of the graphic arts, and work to expand the diversity of the collection, and advance equitable collection practices, in collaboration with diverse local and international stakeholders in ways that facilitate the practice of the graphic arts at the University by faculty and students.

Salary Range: $83,000-$100,000.
