Primrose School of Round Rock at Forest Creek Hiring for Preschool Director Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Director to organize and oversee the daily operations of our school. You will be the one to ensure that the school is well-coordinated and successfully prepares small children for kindergarten by managing procedures and coaching teachers. A Director must have a passion for early childhood education and dedication to the success of our next generation. Qualifications needed to help children build the right foundation include exceptional leadership skills, advanced interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and extensive experience in early education and childcare management.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the school to ensure smooth student progress
• Supervise staff from different classrooms and provide constructive feedback
• Provide verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children’s behavior
• Manage relationships and agreements with external partners and vendors
• Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures and apply improvements
• Undertake staffing responsibilities (training, evaluating, scheduling etc.)
• Manage the budget by monitoring revenue and expenses

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field
• Two years’ work experience in a licensed child care facility, kindergarten or early childhood program
• Possesses deep love for children and a strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community
• Reliable with strong character and values. Will serve as a role model for others in the school and embody the servant leadership philosophy
• Must meet Texas Child Care Licensing requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
