Prime Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics Hiring for Orthodontic Office Assistant Full Time

Prime Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics is a modern, state-of-the-art practice offering specialized care for toddlers, teens, and special needs patients. We provide a comfortable, safe, and fun dental experience for all of our younger patients.

We are actively seeking a PT Orthodontic Office Assistant with possible transition to FT in desired.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling patients and answering questions regarding treatment
• Verifying Insurance and breaking down benefits for patients
• Obtain information on patient’s medical history
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
• Perform general office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer
• Communicate with patients and suppliers (e.g., schedule appointments, answer calls, billing, and order supplies)
• Dental charting
• Inventory control and management
• Manage patient reception area
• Create and maintain patient records
• Follow accounting/bookkeeping procedures
• Prepare Written Business Communications

Requirements:

• Experience with Orthodontic treatment required
• Proficiency with Eaglesoft or other dental practice management software required
• Strong attention to detail with excellent multi-tasking, written and verbal communication skills
