Factory Operative – Temp to Perm – Immediate Start – Training and Development

We are pleased to working with a highly successful Maldon based Independent Builders / Timber Merchants who are looking for a Factory Operative on a Temporary to Permanent Basis.

This role with give the successful applicant the opportunity to work within all departments of the business and the chance for continued training and progression.

The duties of the Factory Operative:
Working in the Paint Shop – assisting sprayers with product
Providing raw material for machining
Basic Machine Operating – further training provided

Based in the Yard you will be:
Order picking and packing
Assisting with loading and unloading lorries
Moving finished product from the factory to the yard

The ideal Factory Operative candidate:
Experience in Manufacturing and Production is preferred but not essential

A can do attitude

Keen to learn and progress within a company
Able to carry out manual handling tasks

Some of the opportunities available include – Forklift training (Reach and Counterbalance), Mill operating, Machine Operating (CNC, Bench Saws) and Paint Spraying

Hours:
Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm

Pay:
Starting pay – £9.18 – £9.50 – depending on age
